It always helps when you see familiar faces in the audience. But if you’re presenting to a group of people whom you haven’t met before, what do you do?
Well, drop by the venue early and just introduce yourself to as many of the participants as possible. There will bound to be one or two that you make an instant connection with. You probably support the same football team; or live in the same area.
Remember their names. So as you start your presentation, you can always make eye contact with your newfound friends. Acknowledge them and they’ll most likely smile back at you. This should put you more at ease, and ready to blow them away with your presentation!
